Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital for a 6-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 38 beds, uses Meditech, and includes rapid, main, and behavioral health-safe areas.

• Triage emergency patients and prioritize care
• Monitor and stabilize patients with acute symptoms
• Assist with chest tube care and port placement
• Support de-escalation and patient safety
• Collaborate with the care team and document care
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and ENPC
• Prioritizing and time management skills
• Completion of a de-escalation course
