Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital during a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit uses Meditech and includes multiple care areas with a psych-safe space for varied patient needs.

• Triage and prioritize patients in a busy emergency department
• Monitor patients receiving ventilatory support and cardiac monitoring
• Assist with chest tube care, port placement, and other emergency procedures
• Support care in a psych-safe area and use de-escalation techniques
• Collaborate with the team during rapid changes in patient acuity
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in Meditech

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
