Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 38 beds, uses Meditech, and includes main, rapid, and psych-safe care areas.

• Deliver emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and high-acuity needs
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status in Meditech
• Support stabilization care involving vents, BiPAP, chest tubes, and arterial lines
• Assist with port placement and other emergency procedures
• Prioritize care across main, rapid, and psych-safe areas
• Use de-escalation skills to help maintain a safe environment

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Emergency department nursing experience
• Prioritization and time management skills
• De-escalation course
