Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in an acute care hospital emergency department in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The unit has 38 beds, three care areas, a psych safe area, and Meditech charting.

• Triage and assess emergency patients
• Prioritize care during changing needs
• Monitor vital signs and clinical status
• Administer treatments and emergency medications
• Assist with chest tube and port procedures
• Document care in Meditech and communicate with the team
• Deliver patient education and discharge instructions

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• De-escalation course
• Prioritization and time management skills
