Travel ED RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 38 beds, three care areas, a psych-safe area, and uses Meditech.

• Assess and stabilize emergency patients
• Prioritize incoming patients and manage care efficiently
• Monitor cardiac and respiratory status with bedside equipment
• Assist with port placement and chest tube care
• Support ventilator, BiPAP, arterial line, and transfusion-related care
• De-escalate behavioral crises and maintain a safe environment
• Document care in Meditech and collaborate with the team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Completion of a de-escalation course
• Prioritizing and time management skills
