Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 16 beds, hall chairs, a 1:4 ratio, Meditech charting, and low-acuity ESI 4 and 5 patients. It also supports stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma care in a Level II trauma setting.

• Assess emergency patients and prioritize care
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood draws
• Provide wound care, splinting, and urine collection support
• Document care, vital signs, and responses in the chart
• Collaborate with the care team for ESI 1 through 5 patients
• Support trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• TNCC, ENPC, or PALS
• Compassion, urgency, and teamwork

• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
• CEN or TCRN
• CPI
