Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for low-acuity emergency patients in a hospital emergency room on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 16 beds, 8 hall chairs, 1:4 ratios, and uses Meditech. It supports stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and trauma care.

• Perform emergency assessments and reassessments
• Document care and vital signs in the chart
• Administer medications and support IV therapy
• Provide wound care, splinting, urine collection, and lab draws
• Care for ESI 1 through ESI 5 patients
• Collaborate with charge, triage, nurses, and technicians

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS
• TNCC, ENPC, or PALS
• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• Compassion, urgency, and teamwork

• CEN or TCRN certification
• CPI training
• More than 2 years of emergency department experience
