Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a 24/7 freestanding emergency department on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 15 beds, uses Meditech, and sees patients with sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and trauma. Ratios are 1:4 depending on acuity.

• Perform emergency nursing assessments and reassessments
• Administer medications and start IV lines
• Assist with splinting and wound care
• Monitor patients with sepsis, STEMI, stroke, and trauma concerns
• Document care in Meditech
• Oversee EMT-P support and communicate changes in patient status

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Compassionate, team-oriented emergency nursing skills

• Airway management and ventilator experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
