Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a freestanding emergency department in Corpus Christi, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit has 15 beds, uses Meditech charting, and cares for patients with acuity-based 1:4 ratios.

• Assess patients with sepsis, STEMI, stroke and trauma concerns
• Perform triage, reassessments and ongoing documentation
• Start IVs, administer medications and support emergency interventions
• Assist with splinting and wound care
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Support EMT-P staff and collaborate with the care team

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ALS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach with a strong sense of urgency
• Rapid recognition of sepsis, STEMI, stroke and trauma

• Airway management and ventilator experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
