Travel ED RN in Corpus Christi, TX

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Corpus Christi, Texas. The unit has 16 beds, 8 hall chairs, low-acuity ESI 4 and 5 patients, and Meditech charting.

• Assess patients across the emergency department acuity range
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care
• Assist with splinting, urine collection, and lab draws
• Document care and monitor vital signs in Meditech
• Coordinate with charge, triage, nurses, techs, and support staff
• Support care for trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis patients

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• Greater than 2 years of emergency department experience
• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• TNCC, ENPC, or PALS
• ACLS and BLS

• CEN or TCRN
• CPI
