Travel ED RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide care for emergency patients in a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a high-volume setting with Epic charting.

The role supports a Level I trauma, stroke, and chest pain center.

• Assess and prioritize emergency patients
• Stabilize trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases
• Administer medications and treatments
• Monitor patients across pediatric and adult age groups
• Coordinate care with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Document care in Epic
• Support patient and family education

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years emergency department experience
• 1 year Level I trauma experience or 2 years Level II trauma experience
• Emergency care experience with pediatric patients
• Epic charting system experience
