Travel ED RN in Charlottesville, VA

A Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide emergency nursing care in a hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Charlottesville, Virginia. The unit serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics in a Level I trauma, comprehensive stroke, and chest pain center using Epic charting.

• Assess patients and prioritize emergency care
• Initiate IV access, medications, and treatments
• Monitor cardiac, neurologic, trauma, and respiratory status
• Assist with stroke, chest pain, and trauma care
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Epic
• Collaborate with providers and support services

• Virginia Registered Nurse license, pending accepted
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• 2 years Emergency Department experience
• 1 year Level I trauma facility experience or 2 years Level II trauma facility experience
• Pediatric patient care experience
• Epic charting experience
