Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will monitor neurological and telemetry patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves neuroscience, neurology, and neurosurgical patients with a 1:5 ratio and Epic charting in a teaching hospital. It is a designated stroke unit in a level II trauma setting.

• Monitor telemetry and neurological status
• Assess stroke, neurosurgical, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury patients
• Perform NIHSS-based neurological checks
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Support respiratory care, BiPAP/CPAP, and chest tube management
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience, 6 months of neuro experience, and 4:5 patient ratio experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with CVA, craniotomy, neuro stepdown, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation monitoring, and pre/post neurosurgery care
