Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide neuro telemetry care in an acute care hospital on a 26-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves neuroscience, neurology and neurosurgical patients, uses Epic charting, has 48 beds and a 1:5 ratio. It is a teaching hospital with stroke designation and level II trauma and pediatric trauma capabilities.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Perform neuro assessments and support stroke and neurosurgical care
• Administer medications and coordinate treatment plans for complex patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP support, chest tubes and other ordered therapies
• Document care in Epic and communicate changes to the care team
• Respond promptly to changes in neurologic or cardiac status

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Neuro stepdown, post-neurosurgery, dysrhythmia interpretation and management experience
• BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care and procedural sedation monitoring skills
