Per Diem Telemetry RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide bedside care for telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. Charting is in Allscripts EMD.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes in condition
• Assess telemetry patients and prioritize nursing care
• Administer medications and follow ordered therapies
• Document assessments, interventions and responses in the chart
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team on treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care needs

• California Registered Nurse license
• AHA BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications
• 1 year of Tele unit experience
• EPIC experience
• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
