Per Diem Telemetry RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Per Diem Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide ongoing bedside care for monitored patients in an acute care hospital in Los Angeles, California. Charting is in Allscripts EMD, and the unit expects independent work with routine telemetry monitoring and patient-focused nursing care.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
• Assess patients and update nursing plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Coordinate care with the health care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Support safe admissions, transfers, and discharges

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA
• 1 year of telemetry unit experience
• EPIC experience
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
