Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide neuro telemetry care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves neuroscience, neurology and neurosurgical patients, uses Epic charting, and works at a teaching Level II trauma hospital with a 1:5 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and identify dysrhythmias
• Provide neurologic and neurosurgical nursing care
• Assess changes in cognition, strength and stroke symptoms
• Support BiPAP, CPAP and chest tube management
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative neurosurgical care
• Document care and communicate changes in Epic

• Active Washington Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Epic charting experience
• Telemetry rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia management skills
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
