Travel Telemetry RN in Spokane, WA

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for neuroscience telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 26-week contract. The unit has a 1:5 ratio, uses Epic, and serves a designated stroke population in a teaching Level II trauma center.

• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Perform neuro assessments and support stroke care
• Care for post-operative neurosurgical patients
• Administer medications and titrate therapies as ordered
• Assist with dysrhythmia management and respiratory support
• Provide care for patients with traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury

• Washington Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• Epic charting system experience
• 4-5 patient assignment experience
• Neuro telemetry, neuro stepdown, and pre/post neurosurgery experience
• CVA, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, craniotomy, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, and procedural sedation monitoring experience
