Travel Telemetry RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac telemetry care in a hospital for a 13 week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The 29-bed unit uses Meditech and cares for post-cardiac procedure patients with 1:4 ratios. The team works in a fast-paced environment with strong patient communication expectations.

• Monitor telemetry patterns and rhythm changes
• Assess and care for post-cardiac procedure patients
• Administer and titrate IV cardiac medications
• Support temporary pacemakers and chest tube care
• Perform IV insertions, Foley insertions and NGT maintenance
• Promote bedside communication and patient teaching

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Cardiac telemetry or PCU/ICU experience
• Experience reading and interpreting EKGs and telemetry strips
• Experience administering and titrating IV medications
• Post-cardiac procedural care experience
