Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Independence, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The unit has 36 beds, runs 4:5 ratios, and uses Meditech, Pyxis, and infusion pumps.

• Monitor telemetry patients and report rhythm changes
• Manage cardiac drips and titrate care as ordered
• Provide recovery support for post-cath patients without sheath removal
• Care for patients after pacemaker placement
• Assess stroke patients and track neurologic status
• Document care in Meditech and support safe medication handling

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry experience with post-cath recovery, pacemaker placements, stroke care, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips
• Strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
