Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and inpatient care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech and serves post-cath, pacemaker, and stroke patients with 4:5 assignments.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Provide care for post-cath, pacemaker, and stroke patients
• Administer and titrate ordered cardiac drips
• Assess vital signs and report abnormal findings
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and team
• Document patient care in the EMR
• Support safe use of pumps and bedside monitoring equipment

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Telemetry nursing experience with post-cath recovery, pacemaker placements, stroke care, and amiodarone and Cardizem drips
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
