Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech and supports patients needing BiPAP, heated high-flow nasal cannulas, and IV pump support. The hospital has level 2 trauma, stroke, and STEMI accreditation and is a designated education unit.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret rhythm changes
• Assess cardiac patients and respond to clinical changes
• Manage vasoactive drips and other ordered therapies
• Assist with central line and PICC line placement
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Meditech
• Support BiPAP, high-flow, and feeding pump use

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Management of vasoactive drips
