Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital in Independence, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech and supports patients recovering after cardiac procedures and stroke-related needs.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and report changes promptly
• Provide care for post-cath recovery and pacemaker placement patients
• Administer ordered drips and other cardiac therapies
• Assess stroke patients and respond to changing conditions
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and care team
• Document assessments, treatments and responses in Meditech

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS
• Telemetry nursing experience
• Experience with post-cath recovery, pacemaker placement and stroke care
• Experience with amiodarone and Cardizem drips

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
