Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and bedside care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The unit uses Meditech and cares for post-cath, pacemaker, and stroke patients with 4:5:1 ratios.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Assess post-cath, pacemaker, and stroke patients
• Manage amiodarone and Cardizem infusions
• Administer medications and coordinate bedside care
• Document assessments and responses in Meditech
• Communicate changes in condition to the care team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Experience recovering post-cath patients without sheath removal
• Experience with pacemaker recovery, stroke care, and cardiac drips

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
