Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care for telemetry patients in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Independence, Missouri. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech, works with 1:3 to 1:5 staffing patterns, and supports BiPAP, heated high-flow nasal cannulas, and telemetry monitoring in a level 2 trauma center with stroke and STEMI accreditation.

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry changes
• Administer IV medications and manage vasoactive drips
• Assess patients receiving BiPAP and heated high-flow support
• Document care and rhythm trends in Meditech
• Maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Coordinate with the care team on changing patient needs

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience managing vasoactive drips
