Travel Telemetry RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will care for cardiac telemetry patients in an acute care hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 29 beds, uses Meditech, and maintains a 1:4 patient ratio.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and interpret EKG strips
• Provide post cardiac procedure care after ablations and cardiac catheterizations
• Administer and titrate IV medications for cardiac support
• Assist with IV insertions, NGT care, chest tube care, and Foley insertions
• Support temporary pacemaker care and cardiac monitoring
• Document care in the charting system and communicate with the care team

• Active Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Cardiac telemetry, PCU, or ICU experience
• EKG and telemetry strip interpretation skills
• Post cardiac procedural care experience
• IV medication titration skills
