Travel Telemetry RN in Independence, MO

A Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide cardiac monitoring and nursing care in an acute care hospital in Independence, Missouri for a 13-week contract. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech charting and typically manages 4:1 to 5:1 ratios.

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and patient status
• Administer ordered cardiac infusions and respond to changes
• Care for post-cath and pacemaker placement recovery patients
• Provide stroke-focused nursing care
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS certification
• Clinical skills in telemetry, post-cath recovery, pacemaker placement recovery, stroke care, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips

• NIH Stroke Scale experience
