Travel Surgical Tech in Santa Rosa, CA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Santa Rosa, California. The unit has 8 rooms and serves adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics across orthopedic trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general, GU, and GYN cases.

• Prepare operating room setups and case carts for specialty cases
• Maintain sterile technique and safe patient positioning
• Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team
• Assist with trauma, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, and general cases
• Support microscope, laparoscopic, arthroscopy, and navigation equipment during procedures
• Follow universal protocol, sharps safety, and infection control practices

• 3 years of surgical tech experience
• Level I trauma experience
• Prior travel experience
• BLS certification
• Operating room aseptic technique and sterile processing knowledge

• CST certification
• NBSTSA certification
• Craniotomy and airway management
• da Vinci Xi and community hospital experience
