Travel Surgical Tech in Chico, CA

A Travel Surgical Technologist will assist in inpatient surgery in a hospital in Chico, California on a 13-week contract. The role supports a Level II trauma center and an inpatient main operating room.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Gather and organize instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field and aseptic technique
• Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
• Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and supplies
• Clean and restock rooms between cases

• One year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Graduation from an accredited operating room technician course
• Current CPR certification
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
