Travel Surgical Tech in Orangeburg, SC

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support surgical cases in the operating room on a 13-week contract in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The unit has 9 operating rooms and handles general surgery, robotics, orthopedics, gynecology, urology, ENT, podiatry, and eye cases. Cerner is used for charting.

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical cases
• Maintain sterility and follow Universal Protocol throughout cases
• Pass instruments, supplies, and suture materials to the team
• Assist with counts, specimen handling, and turnover
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties during procedures
• Apply isolation precautions and PPE standards

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification
• 3 years of general operating room experience
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and Universal Protocol

• Cerner charting system experience
