Travel Surgical Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Pediatric Surgical Technologist will support pediatric, neonatal and OB surgical cases in a children's hospital operating room on a 13-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit uses Cerner and serves neonates through adolescents with Level II trauma care and about 16 rooms. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for pediatric and OB cases
• Assist with scrubbing for cesarean sections, dilation and curettage, dilation and evacuation and other procedures
• Maintain aseptic technique, sterilization and high-level disinfection standards
• Handle instrumentation, specimen labeling and safe reprocessing workflows
• Support case setup, supply readiness and room turnover for complex surgical services
• Assist with decontamination, crash cart readiness and safety practices

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 1 year of pediatric general operating room surgical technologist experience
• Trauma Level II experience
• Cerner charting system experience
• Prior travel surgical technologist experience

• Teaching hospital experience
• Community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
