Travel Surgical Tech in Olympia, WA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room cases in an acute care hospital in Olympia, Washington on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults and geriatrics and uses Epic charting for general, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, vascular, gynecology, urology and robotics cases. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare the operating room and sterile field for surgical cases
• Assist surgeons with instruments, supplies and sutures during procedures
• Support general, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, vascular and robotic cases
• Maintain aseptic technique and safe sterile workflow
• Manage case setup, room turnover and surgical supply readiness
• Handle scopes, fiber optic equipment and instrument care
• Assist with complex procedures and case progression as assigned

• Washington Surgical Technologist license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of surgical tech experience
• Operating room experience with adult general, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, vascular, gynecology, urology and robotics cases

• Robotic surgery experience with daVinci and Mako
• Epic charting system experience
• Scopes, fiber optic equipment and high-level disinfection experience
