Travel Surgical Tech in Indianapolis, IN

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room with neuro and trauma cases for a 12-week contract in Indianapolis, Indiana. The unit serves adolescents, adults and geriatrics, uses Cerner, and supports Level I trauma cases.

• Prepare operating rooms for neuro, trauma and general cases
• Assist surgeons during craniotomy, spine and orthopedic trauma procedures
• Pass instruments, supplies and implants during surgery
• Support laparoscopic, gynecologic, ENT, plastics and urology cases
• Handle sterile technique, counts and instrument processing
• Reprocess trauma trays and maintain case cart readiness

• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of surgical tech experience
• 1 year of Level I trauma experience
• Neuro and trauma case experience
• Prior travel experience

• Cerner charting system experience
• Aneurysm repair experience
• Carotid endarterectomy experience
• Femoral popliteal bypass graft experience
