Travel Surgical Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support adult operating room cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit handles a broad mix of adult specialties, advanced oncology cases, and uses Epic in a 21-room setting with 1:1 assignment expectations.

• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments for adult cases
• Assist surgeons and maintain the sterile field during procedures
• Handle surgical equipment, robotics, and case setup
• Support endovascular and complex specialty cases
• Maintain aseptic technique and respond to intraoperative needs
• Count, clean, and organize instruments and supplies between cases

• Certified Surgical Technologist credential or military training
• BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification
• 2 years of operating room experience
• Prior travel experience
• Broad knowledge of surgical equipment and aseptic technique

• ASATT certification
• Endovascular and hybrid room experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I experience
