Travel Surgical Tech in Salt Lake City, UT

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical First Assistant will assist in the operating room during a 13-week contract in Salt Lake City, Utah. The main operating room has 15 rooms and a 120-person staff, with a broad case mix including general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, ortho, robotics, and vascular cases.

• Assist surgeons during open and minimally invasive procedures
• Support endoscopic vein harvesting and other first assist tasks
• Maintain exposure, hemostasis, and tissue handling in the sterile field
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the operative field
• Close incisions and dress operative sites as directed
• Communicate with the surgical team to support safe case flow

• CSFA or CFA certification
• At least 2 years of first assist experience
• Operating room sterile technique and surgical assisting

• Experience with general surgery, urology, GYN, spine, neuro, orthopedic, robotics, and vascular cases
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience
