Travel Surgical Tech in Asheville, NC

A Travel Surgical Technologist First Assist will assist surgeons during operating room procedures in Asheville, North Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Cerner, standard OR equipment, and robotic platforms, and supports a broad mix of surgical specialties with 1:1 staffing.

• Assist surgeons during orthopedic trauma, spine, neuro, gynecologic, general, vascular, and robotic procedures
• Maintain a sterile field and support safe operative flow
• Pass instruments, supplies, and implants as needed
• Anticipate surgeon needs during complex cases
• Prepare the room and support OR equipment readiness
• Document case details and assist with handoff communication

• CSTFA, CFA, or RNFA certification
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology or first assistant program
• Strong sterile technique and operating room teamwork
