Travel Surgical Tech in Medford, OR

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist operating room cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Medford, Oregon. The unit has 9 rooms, uses Epic, serves adolescents through geriatrics, and averages about 30 surgical cases each day. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare operating rooms for scheduled surgical cases
• Assist with general, orthopedic, vascular, gynecologic, urologic, neuro spine, ENT, and robotic procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and aseptic workflow
• Set up case carts, crash carts, and surgical supplies
• Support patient positioning, draping, and room turnover
• Help with complex spine, trauma, and robotic cases
• Assist with OB OR emergencies when required

• Current NBSTSA certification
• BLS certification
• 2-3 years of perioperative Surgical Tech experience
• Experience with orthopedic, urologic, gynecologic, vascular, general, neuro spine, and ENT cases
• Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery experience
• Community hospital experience

• Trauma cases

• Endovascular aortic repair (EVAR)
• Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
