Travel Surgical Tech in Portland, OR

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support adult surgical cases in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The operating room averages about 60 cases a day across 21 rooms, uses Epic charting, and handles a broad mix of adult specialties with a focus on advanced oncology surgery.

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical tables for adult cases
• Maintain aseptic technique and support a sterile field
• Pass instruments and supplies during robotic, endovascular, and general surgeries
• Set up and handle surgical equipment and scopes
• Assist with counts, specimen handling, and room turnover
• Support case flow and restock supplies between procedures

• Current BLS certification
• NBSTSA certification or military training as a surgical technologist
• 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Prior travel experience

• ASATT certification
• Robotic, endovascular, and hybrid operating room experience
• Teaching hospital experience and Level I trauma experience
• Scope care, fiber optic equipment, and high-level disinfection
