Travel Surgical Tech in Fredericksburg, VA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will assist in the operating room in Fredericksburg, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit has 4 ORs with a 1:1:1 staffing pattern and handles ortho, general, spine/neuro, GYN and urology cases.

• Scrub and assist with surgical cases
• Support first assist duties during procedures
• Prepare instruments, supplies and sterile setup
• Maintain sterile technique throughout each case
• Anticipate surgeon needs and case flow
• Assist with ortho, spine and general procedures
• Collaborate with the OR team during turnover

• Virginia surgical technologist license
• First Assist and BLS certification
• Certified Surgical Technologist credential
