Travel Surgical Tech in Spokane, WA

A Travel Surgical Tech Certified Surgical Technologist will support operating room cases in a short-term acute care hospital in Spokane, Washington on a 13-week contract. The setting is a teaching Level II trauma and Level II pediatric trauma center with Epic charting and a broad case mix, including neuro and cardiovascular surgery. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Prepare instruments, supplies, and the sterile field for each case
• Assist with neuro, cardiovascular, and other specialty procedures across the operating room
• Maintain aseptic technique, counts, and universal protocol during surgery
• Handle specimens, equipment documentation, and case cart setup
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments during procedures
• Support room turnover and readiness for the next surgical case

• Current NBSTSA certification
• BLS certification
• 1 year of surgical technologist experience
• Neurosurgical scrub skills
• Experience with wide-ranging operating room cases

• Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience
• Experience with colorectal, gynecologic, and microvascular cases
