Travel Social Worker in Spokane, WA

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker will provide crisis evaluations and care recommendations in an acute care hospital emergency department on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The unit serves adults and pediatrics, uses Epic, and supports mental health and substance use needs in a Level II trauma, teaching hospital.

• Complete crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Assess danger to self, others, and grave disability
• Provide level of care recommendations to the care team
• Coordinate with attending providers and APPs
• Document assessments and care plans in Epic
• Support discharge and contingency planning

• Washington Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license
• 3 years of crisis risk assessment experience with adults and pediatrics
• Epic charting experience
• Mental health and substance use crisis intervention skills

• Emergency department social work experience
• Care coordination and case management
• Child and adult protective services experience
• Trauma-informed psychiatric social work
