Travel Social Worker in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Master Social Worker will provide psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and brief clinical support in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The consult-based service supports patients from neonates through geriatrics across adult, children's, emergency, PICU, NICU, and maternity teams. Epic is used for charting in a Magnet, Level II trauma setting.

• Complete psychosocial assessments and initial evaluations
• Develop safe discharge plans with the care team
• Provide brief clinical interventions and crisis support
• Screen for suicidality and complete safety planning
• Coordinate resource navigation and community referrals
• Document care and communicate with outside entities

• Alaska Licensed Master Social Worker license or temporary license eligibility
• Master of Social Work from a CWSE-accredited program
• 2 years of acute care social work experience
• Strong biopsychosocial assessment and discharge planning skills

• LCSW
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric, emergency department, or adult inpatient social work experience
