Travel Social Worker in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Master Social Worker will provide consult-based psychosocial support, discharge planning, and care coordination in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The role supports adult, pediatric, neonatal, and maternity settings in a Magnet Level II trauma hospital with Epic charting.

• Complete psychosocial assessments and identify discharge plans
• Coordinate care with RN Case Managers and the interdisciplinary team
• Provide brief clinical interventions and crisis support
• Screen for suicidality and support safety planning
• Navigate community resources and outside services
• Complete harm reports and required care coordination documentation

• Alaska Licensed Master Social Worker license or temporary license
• Master's degree in social work from a CWSE-accredited program
• 2 years of acute care social work experience
• Psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and crisis intervention skills
• Knowledge of resource navigation, care coordination, and safety planning

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker
• Emergency Department experience
• Pediatrics, NICU, or maternity experience
• Epic charting experience
