Travel Social Worker in Anchorage, AK

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Master Social Worker will provide consult-based psychosocial support and discharge planning in an acute hospital on a 13-week contract in Anchorage, Alaska. The role supports patients across pediatrics, neonates, adults, and geriatrics, with Epic charting in a Magnet, Level II trauma hospital. The service spans emergency, children's, and adult care areas.

• Complete psychosocial assessments and identify discharge plans
• Screen for suicidality and support safety planning
• Provide brief clinical interventions and crisis support
• Coordinate with case managers, families, and the care team
• Navigate community resources and outside services
• Document care, patient response, and coordination needs
• Complete reports of harm and other required follow-up

• Alaska Licensed Master Social Worker license or temporary license eligibility
• Master's degree in social work from a CWSE-accredited program
• 2 years of acute care social work experience
• Biopsychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and crisis intervention skills

• LCSW
• Epic charting system experience
• Pediatric, neonatal, and maternal social work experience
