Travel Social Worker in Spokane, WA

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker will provide crisis assessment and consultation in an emergency room at an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Spokane, Washington. The role supports adults and pediatrics with mental health and substance use concerns in a Level II trauma and pediatric trauma teaching hospital using Epic.

• Complete crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Evaluate danger to self, danger to others, and grave disability
• Conduct biopsychosocial and mental health assessments
• Document findings and level-of-care recommendations in Epic
• Coordinate with ED providers, multidisciplinary teams, and community resources

• Full Washington Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker license
• 3 years of crisis assessment experience
• Epic charting experience
• Experience with adults and pediatrics in emergency care

• Hospital experience
• Emergency department experience
• Care coordination and case management
• Behavioral health and psychiatric experience
