Travel Social Worker in Asheville, NC

A Travel Social Worker Licensed Clinical Social Worker will facilitate psychotherapeutic group services and complete assessments in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting in Asheville, North Carolina, for a 13-week contract. The unit serves adult, child, adolescent, and geriatric patients and uses Cerner for documentation.

• Complete activity therapy assessments for new patients
• Develop and update treatment plans
• Lead psychotherapeutic groups for adult, child, adolescent, and geriatric patients
• Document assessments, interventions, and group progress in the medical record
• Coordinate group flow with nursing and support staff
• Adapt therapeutic activities to support patient participation

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant therapy or behavioral health field
• Active LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or comparable license, certification, or registration
• Experience running groups within the specialty
• Behavioral health assessment and group facilitation skills
