Travel SICU RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide critical care for medical and surgical intensive care patients in a hospital on a 13 week contract in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit has 32 beds, a 2:1 ratio, uses Meditech, and serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level I Trauma Center.

• Manage critically ill medical and surgical ICU patients
• Administer vasoactive medications and monitor patient response
• Monitor ventilated patients and support airway management
• Assess hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Provide care for post-op surgical and stroke patients
• Assist with chest tubes, CRRT, sedation, and invasive line procedures

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2 years of ICU experience
• Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course
