Travel SICU RN in Plano, TX

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for critically ill surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Plano, Texas. The unit uses Meditech charting, works with a 2:1 ratio, and has a supervisor on every shift.

• Monitor surgical ICU patients
• Assess hemodynamic status and clinical changes
• Assist with central line and arterial line insertions
• Assist with bedside tracheostomy and chest tube procedures
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the critical care team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• ACLS
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• 2+ years of surgical intensive care experience

• Meditech experience
• TNCC
• CCRN
• TCRN
