Travel SICU RN in Kansas City, MO

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for MICU and SICU patients in an acute care hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on a 13-week contract. The 32-bed ICU has a 2:1 ratio, uses Meditech, and serves a trauma and stroke center.

• Monitor hemodynamics and ventilator support for critically ill surgical patients
• Administer vasoactive medications and other IV therapies
• Assess cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status
• Assist with chest tubes, ventriculostomy, CRRT and line placement procedures
• Provide care for post-op, trauma and stroke patients
• Support moderate sedation and invasive monitoring

• Missouri Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU experience

• TNCC certification
