Travel SICU RN in San Antonio, TX

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will provide care for critically ill surgical patients in an ICU during a 13-week contract in San Antonio, Texas. The unit uses Meditech and cares for complex critical care patients.

• Provide direct nursing care for surgical critical care patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with central lines, bronchoscopy and bedside trachs
• Administer treatments and medications within ICU standards
• Coordinate care with the interprofessional team
• Document patient care in the charting system

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• 2+ years of critical care experience
• 2+ years of hospital travel experience

• Rotoprone experience
• CRRT exposure with Prismaflex
• Meditech experience
