Travel SICU RN in Dallas, TX

A Travel Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse will care for surgical intensive care patients in a hospital unit during a 13-week contract in Dallas, Texas. The unit serves a surgical population, especially oncology, and uses Meditech.

• Deliver care to surgical ICU patients
• Monitor and respond to changes in critical condition
• Assist with central line placements and bedside procedures
• Support dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions and intubations
• Administer ICU therapies and medications per protocol
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

• Meditech charting experience
• CRRT experience
• Hypothermia protocol experience
